Scoop shortlisted at Property Week Awards in Commercial Deal of the Year Category
Scoop has been shortlisted for Property Week’s ‘Commercial Deal of the Year’ awards, for the acquisition of The Thistles, Stirling’s foremost shopping location. The transaction, which closed in December 2020, was Scoop’s first joint venture with AXA Fund Management.
The acquisition was made in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic; while many retail assets were declining in value, Scoop continued to identify and track properties that presented opportunities to acquire at heavily discounted values but with underlying strengths.

After a difficult year for retail, the revival of the high street appears to be underway across the UK, with a corresponding increase in investor sentiment to match.”
